CITRINE: Franklin, NC (Dust to Dust) - Main image
$9.3 $15 In stock

Citrine from Franklin, North Carolina.

This pigment is part of the Dust To Dust collection.

We break down this pigment by hand with a mortar and pestle. This polish is sheer but builds up beautifully. It will have texture as well as larger pieces of pigment present in the polish finish. Each batch will have slight color variations as we use different parts of the source material. This polish contains a small amount of earth mica to enhance the natural color.

Larger particles will naturally stick to the bottom and sides of the bottle and not suspend in the polish base.

This polish comes with a removable handmade decorative bronze cap atop our standard black matte nail polish cap - merging artistry with function. To forego bronze caps on your order, click here.

Leo ★★★★★

The mortar-and-pestle processing really gives this citrine a unique, almost gritty texture that I wasn't expecting, but it applies smoothly once it's on. I've been using it as a sheer wash over a neutral base and the build-up is genuinely beautiful—like capturing a soft sunset glow. Definitely worth

This pigment layers so well over a tacky base, and the hand-ground texture gives it a lovely, subtle shimmer. I was surprised how a few thin coats built up into a soft, glowing finish. Perfect for a natural, luminous look.

The hand-crushed texture gives it a lovely raw feel, and it really does build up sheer to bold in just a couple of layers. I’ve been using it as a soft highlight and it’s got that natural Franklin glow without any chalkiness.
