I’ve never seen a polish shift quite like this one—the steel-blue magnetic pigment really does look like moonlight hitting wet soil. Took three coats to get the depth I wanted, but the moody plum-brown base is worth the extra minute.

The magnetic effect is genuinely striking—that steel-blue pigment shifts like a storm cloud over the plum-brown base, and it reads almost metallic in low light. I did three thin coats over a base coat and the moody, ethereal finish was exactly what I hoped for.
